Reflection
Experience
From my time that I've spent in this course, I've learnt a lot of
things, such as keeping an e-blog or creating a font of my own. The
tasks themselves were fun and all but were quite time consuming.
There were multiple instances of where I did not understand the
topic, and struggled with formatting the blog. Everything is
done with a motive behind it, just like kerning and tracking a wall of text so you can read it more
clearly.
Observations
I learnt to be more observant. Pay attention to details and
such to a degree of perfection. It was hard at first but I
eventually got better at it. Not perfect yet but it's an
improvement. There were things that obscure at first eventually
became more clear, the more I know. How to express more in my type
and why it looks better a certain way compared to the other.
Findings
In the end, if it's one thing I find to be intresting is that to
make a good font you need consistancy. Keeping things consistant
makes something instantly recognisable. And that goes the same for
fonts and the lessons that I go through everyday.
