A tool that allows you to create shapes using freeform curves. Shortcut: P to use the tool, choose the locations of  the nodes with the shape you're trying to create. You can then choose to make curves using the handle. To end connect and close the shape. You can use the pen tool to create shapes by filling with colour or use it to select by switching over to the select tool soon  after. You can practice the use of the pen tool by playing the Bezier game.
