WEEK 3 - PEN TOOL EXERCISE (BEST COMPOSITION)
DESCRIPTION:
For this composition I went with number 2. The reason for this is because Hierarchy is clearly shown-
in this collage. And It shows improvement.
The plant and fish creates a very direct contrast compared with the building and the items on top.
It’s an improvement from the first one which had all the items in the same size.
This composition shows depth and improvement.
WEEK 4 (ADJUSTMENT LAYERS & FILTERS )
DESCRIPTION:
So I wanted a ghost fish walking around because I thought it would look cool.
So I turned the saturation up to red and lowered the opacity, and that’s how I got a transparent cyan-
ghost fish. Why? I just wanted a ghost fish.
I Changed the plant’s Hue from green to red to fit with the fish’s fins and I dropped the-
brightness / contrast on the building to give the fish and the plant the spotlight and to direct the viewer’s-
point of view. To the centerpiece of attention.
I changed the typewriter from cyan to purple and lowered the contrast, same with the building.
I also inverted the colours of the background from red to blue. Because blue rust…why not?
